Not a Taster's Choice mix but in the same vein. Latin, Brazilian and Soul tracks make up this 60+ minute mix put together by Beat Junkie representative #1 - The Funky President. For a change I actually recognize some of the records on this mix. A track from Ultimate Brazilian Breaks & Beats gets a quick spin near the end of the mix. J-Rocc clears the lane for two covers of Tighten Up (by the Archie Bell & the Drells) that give the original Texan version a run for its drum solo and bass line. And even a classic Kool & the Gang track keeps the loco vibe going. Overall this is one of the best promo mixes I listened to in the past year. Get schooled yo! Watch this!
